Our Programs:

Community events are more effective with a fire truck visit from our station. If you have a classroom-based event, you can invite an educator to your event. The following programs are conduced by certified NC Fire & Life Safety Educators.


Pre-K and Early Elementary Reading Program

This program consists of reading and show fire safety books to children, playing fire safety games/music, and displaying fire gear. Activities will vary depending on group six and time constraints.


3rd Grade Fire and Life Safety Program

​This program is a standardized lesson plan presented to 3rd grade classrooms. Students are provided with the knowledge and materials to protect themselves and their families from a fire or burn injury.


4th Grade and up

This Program is a prevention oriented in class setting with topic discussion base about Fire and Life Safety, utilized videos, movies or activities this will vary depending on group size and technical constraints. 


National Fire Prevention Month

Arlington Fire & Rescue emphasizes Fire Safety during the Month of October; we promote this event at local schools during the National Fire Prevention Week and also run several activities of fire safety in the community.
